“I absolutely love the coffee here and always make it a point to support local when I can. Blockhouse truly captures the spirit of Fort Bend County with its strong community vibe.
As a self-proclaimed coffee snob, I finally realized why it’s so good—it’s the reverse osmosis water! The difference is noticeable.
The baristas are always welcoming and helpful. I’ve never had bad service. Today, I had a turkey bagel sandwich that completely impressed me—delicious and beautifully presented.
Blockhouse feels like a true staple of Downtown Richmond—charming, friendly, and unpretentious. Been a fan since day one!”

“This coffee shop kept popping up on my feed, so I decided to visit. The indoor space is compact, but the large backyard offers lots of seating and a great atmosphere.
I ordered a cappuccino, drip coffee, and banana nut muffin—all for about $13.50. The cappuccino was lovely, just smaller than expected. The drip coffee wasn’t strong enough for my partner, who ended up adding instant coffee and oat milk. The muffin was average.
Still, I’ll be back to enjoy the backyard and try more of their pastries.”
