“The Maui Swap Meet is a diverse, locally focused collective offering many Hawaii-centric gifts and goods that are great to look through. The variety is solid, with food, trinkets, and souvenirs for those back home all within reach. While some items felt overpriced—especially after seeing them later at chain stores for less—we understand that’s part of supporting small businesses.”

“We picked up a few gifts for our dog, for others, and for ourselves. We were very happy with the quality, which is all you can really ask for at a market like this. The food selection was also better than expected. We would definitely recommend this as a go-to for anyone looking to support local Maui businesses or find unique gifts.”

“Highly recommend eating at Shibiz Maui here!”

“The Maui Swap Meet is a fantastic Saturday morning destination for both visitors and locals. Located in Kahului, it features a wide range of locally made items—from handcrafted jewelry and wood carvings to fresh produce and unique souvenirs. The vibe is energetic, the vendors are friendly, and the craftsmanship feels truly authentic.”

“With plenty of parking and a small entrance fee, it’s definitely worth your time. It feels more like an artisan market than a traditional flea market. Arrive early to beat the heat and the crowds.”

“I love this swap meet! I came in thinking it might be just a basic farmers market or a typical flea market like the one at Aloha Stadium on Oahu. But this was something better—a great mix of artisan goods, with minimal duplication from booth to booth. The prices were reasonable and the variety was just right.”

“Great deals on souvenirs too—not overwhelming, but enough to find what you need.”

Pro Tip: Try the Maui Girls Shave Ice. Probably the best shave ice deal on the island—huge selection of flavors, great quality, and even comes with snow cap included.

“The large parking lot also makes access easy—no stress about finding a spot. I’ll be returning every time I’m back on Maui.”

  1. Can you give me information about the gal that sells the puzzles. They are in a plastic box. The pieces are cut into different shapes. The company’s name is “Wood n Puzzles”. I can’t find anything on the internet. We purchased a puzzle labeled dolphin but got a butterfly.
